Here in Ohio there has been a new piece of legislation introduced to ban the owning of pit bull type breeds throughout the state. I find this type of legislation to be unfair and unnecessary. No breed of dog is more likely to attack a human than another. It all comes down to the individual dog and the owner of that dog. Any dog with the right, or should I say wrong owner can potentially cause harm to a human. It all comes down to the training and care of the animal. Dogs do not premeditate their actions, they react to the situation that they are put in. More of a problem is the fact that people don’t teach their children to not approach strange dogs. How many times do you see a child going up to a strange dog because they want to pet it? I know that this has happened when I’m out with my dog. I have no problem with allowing someone to pet my dog, but ask first. You don’t know what any dog is going to do in any given situation. Don’t punish an entire breed just because of some bad owners.
I don’t know if I’ll get any responses to this question or not, but I figured why the hell not ask it, Does anyone know how I could get some honest critique on some photographs I’ve taken? I always wanted to take a photography class in high school and then college, but it never worked out for me. So I’m trying to figure out how I can get some honest feedback about the pictures I’ve taken over the years. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know.
